This allows the pilot to steer very precisely through the air and produce interesting videos. The presentation explains the technology, provides short video clips and shows interesting aerial shots. An interesting, entertaining and humorous interpretation of the legal framework.

A neurological journey of discovery through our brain and how we can use it even better in everyday life.
The lecture will take a close look at certain brain centers and how they affect our everyday lives. Why is it that we are more creative and efficient in silence? Is there really an “anxiety center” and what is it good for today? Why is sleep anything but “resting” – and why is it our “superpower”?

Participation in the ”Doing Good Challenge” youth competition offers Rotary clubs many opportunities to promote the club’s youth work and public relations.
The aim of the association “Doing Good Challenge e.V.” (DGC), which was founded by Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors, is to introduce young people to social commitment and to get them excited about it. To this end, the association organizes the nationwide “Doing Good Challenge” competition of the same name every two years, for which young people are asked to independently design and implement a social campaign. The association has already reached over 14,000 young people in two rounds of the competition.
At the Rotary International Convention in Hamburg, the association had its own stand in the “House of Friendship” and presented a concept on how Rotary and Rotaract clubs can boost their youth and public relations work by supporting the competition. In his presentation, speaker Andreas Laschke explained the core idea of the competition, gave great examples of youth engagement and explained the many opportunities that arise for a Rotary club through participation.

Doing Good Challenge e.V.

Together with Rotaractors and Interactors, speaker Andreas Laschke (RC Bad Dürkheim) launched the “Doing Good Challenge” competition in 2016. In the rot. Year 2016/17 the competition was then also “Rotaract Federal Social Action”. Andreas Laschke has been a Rotarian since 2012, first at RC Worms, then at RC Trier and now at RC Bad Dürkheim, and has been involved in youth work since the beginning of his rot. He has been active in youth work since the beginning of his Red. At the same time, he is the first chairman of the “Doing Good Challenge e.V.” association and, together with around 15 other active members, is driving forward the ongoing development of the idea.

How a social superfood start-up promotes and supports women in rural areas in Costa Rica.
The speakers present their social start-up project. Together with an agricultural cooperative founded by women for women in Costa Rica, an instant beverage powder for golden milk/turmeric latte was developed for sale in Germany. By integrating women into the entire value chain, the project not only contributes to financial stability and independence, but also to emancipation, the breaking down of traditional patriarchal thought patterns, increased self-esteem and the personal and professional development of women in the region.
The talk lasts between 10-20 minutes, depending on your wishes, and questions and feedback are very welcome.
