We are specialists in the field of emergency shelter and are usually among the first NGOs to provide vital aid in disaster areas. Our ability to put together highly customized aid packages, our focus on vulnerable groups and our ability to operate in remote areas of a disaster zone, as well as our concentration on only relief supplies that are essential for survival, make our work efficient and transparent.”

ShelterBox provides support in the form of tents, tarpaulins, solar lamps, tools, blankets and, in winter, warm jackets, hats and scarves.
ShelterBox gives people a roof over their heads, hope and the opportunity for a new start.

ShelterBox helps in a variety of locations, no two situations are the same. Nevertheless, whether earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, hurricanes, tsunamis or conflicts – a roof over your head, a dry, warm place where you can sleep, prepare meals and be with your family is the first important step towards recovery after a disaster.

Since its start as a Rotary Club project in 2000, ShelterBox has become an internationally recognized, independent and charitable emergency aid organization with the support of Rotary Clubs around the world.

We are happy to offer clubs the opportunity of an individual presentation at the ShelterBox premises in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. Here, participants have the opportunity to get a perfect overview of projects and relief supplies.
