Lecture on autobiographical writing
Nelson Mandela, Tina Turner or Michelle and Barack Obama – biographies of celebrities almost automatically end up on the bestseller lists. But more and more private individuals are also writing down their memories. Such biographies are not only valuable for our family members or close friends, but also a great gift to ourselves. It has been proven that we release happiness hormones when we write our own life story. We look back on fond memories and remember people who were important to us. But how do I actually write a biography? Editor Regine Weisbrod and journalist Kerstin Conz from the Biographie-Werkstatt am See give practical tips and tell us which biographies are really worth reading.

Kerstin Conz (RC Konstanz-Rheintor) comes from Ulm and studied German, English and History in Konstanz and Brighton. She then completed a newspaper traineeship and worked as a political correspondent in Stuttgart. As a lecturer, she also gave writing seminars at universities and the Munich School of Journalism IFP. The journalist now focuses on corporate communications – and of course the biography workshop at the lake.
