From Ukrainian Traveler to Refugee: How War Rewrites Reality”

In this deeply personal talk, Ukrainian writer and travel blogger Kristina shares her experience of living through the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and the psychological
transformation that follows when war suddenly enters ordinary life. Through intimate, tragicomic, and deeply human observations, she explores how war reshapes identity, relationships, fears, ambitions, and even the understanding of what feels “normal.” What happens when long-term plans disappear overnight? How do people adapt to a reality that once seemed impossible? And how does a human being continue living, loving, laughing, and rebuilding themselves while the world around them collapses?
