Women empowerment in rural Costa Rica

How a social superfood start-up promotes and supports women in rural areas in Costa Rica.

The speakers present their social start-up project. Together with an agricultural cooperative founded by women for women in Costa Rica, an instant beverage powder for golden milk/turmeric latte was developed for sale in Germany. By integrating women into the entire value chain, the project not only contributes to financial stability and independence, but also to emancipation, the breaking down of traditional patriarchal thought patterns, increased self-esteem and the personal and professional development of women in the region.

The talk lasts between 10-20 minutes, depending on your wishes, and questions and feedback are very welcome.
