How Rotaract opened up opportunities for me and changed my life
Jan joined Rotaract “by chance” in 2006 and found a new, second family in a small club in Schweinfurt. Today, this second family is very large and at home all over the world. The story of a committed boy who became a seasoned Rotaractor.

Jan Ilzig (honorary member RAC Karlsruhe, past member RAC Munich-Bavaria & RAC Schweinfurt) studied mechanical engineering at KIT and now leads a team in medical technology for an inhalation device manufacturer near Munich.
He has been a Rotaract member since 2006 and has been actively involved in three clubs. He was president, district speaker and chairman of the Rotaract Germany Committee. He was one of the first to represent Rotaract at the General Assembly in San Diego in 2019 and has also been active at conventions for several years.
