How many of us like to step on the gas? In the car or on the career ladder. But what happens when we just step on the gas? If the daily stress accumulates and lasts too long, there is a disturbance in the autonomic nervous system. The balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems is disturbed.
