German Rotary Volunteer Doctors e.V.: The use of district and global grants as a motor for health aid projects in the world using the example of Ghana and Nepal
GRVD is an association founded in 1998 by Rotarians from all German Rotary districts with the aim of improving health care in developing countries. Since its foundation, over 2000 volunteers, mainly medical professionals, have been sent to the main countries of Ghana and Nepal.
The presentation takes you to these target countries and shows you the often unimaginable problems on site. In order to alleviate the need here, Rotary clubs, also with the help of district and global grants, tackle small and large projects, supported by GRVD.
That is Rotary International!

Since GRVD always needs volunteers as well as financial and material donations for its activities, their acquisition is the main task in addition to project initiation and monitoring on site together with a dedicated team.
