Neuromarketing: How advertising influences decisions | PLZ50 | PLZ52 | PLZ53

Neuromarketing: How our brains really work and how marketing skilfully exploits this.

Most of us are convinced that we think first and then decide. In fact, it’s usually exactly the opposite. Drawing on FRED – our brain – Christian Dietz, a qualified journalist, first shows how we really process information – how we unconsciously filter, evaluate and decide long before our rational mind even has a say. And then he gets down to specifics: how exactly are these mechanisms used in marketing? Through colours, prices, images and stories that target the limbic system directly. That’s where our decisions are actually made. By the end, we’ll discover why we buy before we think – and see through the tricks brands use to steer us every day. An entertaining, brain-friendly and interactive talk that blends science with the ‘wow’ factor.
