A young doctor talks about medical missions in the mountains of Nepal and how this became a project close to her heart, giving children education and hope.

Dr. Lena Salcher, a resident physician from Switzerland, reports on her medical missions in the remote mountain regions of Nepal. In collaboration with the NGO MedInCharge, she treated hundreds of people who otherwise have no access to medical care. These experiences gave rise to the vision of a volunteer house – a place that combines education, medical aid, and encounters.
