“No more plastic” – background, presentation of the play and the performance materials
The lecture begins with facts about the pollution of the oceans with plastic waste and its consequences. It introduces Niki de Saint Phalle as one of the first artists to deal with the emerging plastic catastrophe. This is followed by a presentation of the play, enriched with photos of the performance, rounded off by the materials that were created during our theater work and to enable other clubs to perform the play. Finally, there is a preview of the musical “Schluss mit Plastik”. The play is part of the “EndPlasticSoup” project.

Dr. Ralf Hardenberg (RC Nuremberg Connect) is an internist, was Chief Physician of Internal Medicine and Medical Director of the St. Elisabeth Hospital in Damme and most recently an employed gastroenterologist in Nuremberg. He was President of RC Vechta and is Secretary and Climate Officer of RC Nuremberg Connect, which became climate-neutral in 2022/23 during Andrea Strasser’s year as President. Ralf Hardenberg is an author. His children’s play “Schluss mit Plastik” premiered at the Mummpitztheater in Nuremberg in July 2023.
