Understanding Russia?! | PLZ49

The cultural discrepancy between young and old and the Soviet legacy in everyday life.

About 10 years ago, Tim Christophers was on an exchange in Russia and today his former host country is waging a war of aggression against Ukraine, a war in the middle of Europe. But how does the Russian population view this issue? What are the views of young Russians on the war in Ukraine and why is Russia a country in unfinished transition from communism to democracy? Tim tries to answer these questions and reports from the inside of a culture shaped by contacts he still has with Russia.
